What clients ask most often

Are you a physiotherapist?
No, I am a state-recognised sports scientist and work as a sports therapist. What that means: I do not provide medical treatment — I offer evidence-based movement and training guidance, for example as a follow-up training program after completed medical or physiotherapeutic treatment.
What happens during the initial consultation?
The initial consultation lasts about 30 minutes and is free and non-binding. We talk about your goals, your current situation (including medical clearance where relevant), and your schedule. If you wish, we can do a short movement analysis. By the end, you will know whether my offering fits your situation and what a realistic training rhythm might look like — you can decide at your own pace whether to continue.
Where do training sessions take place?
Three settings are available: (1) home visits at your place (Berlin and surroundings), (2) partner studio (varies by district), or (3) outdoor in Berlin parks (Tempelhofer Feld, Volkspark Friedrichshain, Treptower Park and others). We will find the best setting for you during the initial consultation.
What languages do you speak?
German, English, and Spanish — Spanish is my native language. Training sessions can be conducted entirely in any of these three languages. The initial consultation and all training materials are available in all three languages too.

About Julio Abad Veria

Julio Abad Veria is a sports scientist with a state-recognised 5-year university degree from Cuba, a former university lecturer, and has been based in Berlin for nine years. He brings experience from inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities — and works today with clients who want to return to their full capacity after completed medical treatment.

Trilingual in German, English and Spanish. Specialised in follow-up training, senior movement, aqua training, and movement support for people living with cancer.
