Important note: The movement analysis does not replace a medical diagnosis. If you are experiencing pain or health complaints, medical clearance by a doctor is required before booking a movement analysis.
Who is the movement analysis for?
The movement analysis is aimed at people who want clarity about their movement status — before starting training or to align an existing programme more precisely.
Bernhard notices increasing limitations in his shoulder and neck. He wants clarity about what he can safely take on — without having to sign a training contract straight away. The movement analysis gives him that foundation.
Lisa trains regularly but notices an asymmetric load — one side responds differently from the other. She wants to know precisely where the imbalance lies so she can train more effectively.
Karola wants to start training but first wants to know what is safely manageable and what is not. The movement analysis gives her and Julio the necessary foundation for a safe, age-appropriate programme.

What clients say
"I never had a clear picture of what was actually going on in my body. After the movement analysis I knew for the first time exactly where I stand — and what to tackle next."
"The written evaluation was far more detailed than I had expected. I showed the PDF to my doctor — he was pleasantly surprised at how structured it was."
"I had doubts about whether the analysis even made sense at my age. Julio took it seriously from the start and never made me feel too old for sport."
Frequently asked questions about the movement analysis
- What is the movement analysis designed for?
- The movement analysis creates clarity: where are your personal strengths and limitations in terms of mobility, strength, stability and balance? The result is not a medical finding but a sports-science baseline assessment — as a foundation for targeted, safe training. The analysis does not replace a medical diagnosis.
- Do I need a referral from a doctor?
- No, a referral is not required. However, if you are experiencing active pain or health complaints, we strongly recommend consulting a doctor before booking a movement analysis. Safety comes first.
- How does this differ from an orthopaedic check-up?
- An orthopaedic examination is a medical diagnosis carried out by licensed physicians and can identify or rule out medical conditions. The movement analysis with Julio is sports-science based: it observes your movement patterns, identifies functional imbalances and provides training recommendations — without medical licensing and without diagnostic authority. Both formats complement each other well.
- How does the 75-minute session run?
- After a brief intake conversation (goals, prior experience, current situation), Julio conducts structured movement tests: mobility, strength, stability, balance. On request, movement sequences can be recorded on video (written consent required). At the end, Julio shares initial verbal impressions. The written assessment report (4–6-page PDF) follows within 3 working days by email.
- Do I receive a training plan?
- No — the assessment report contains concrete movement recommendations for everyday life, but not a fully developed training plan. Anyone wishing for a complete, progressive training plan can book a personal training package built on the assessment findings.
- Is a follow-up analysis after 6–8 weeks worthwhile?
- Yes, if you have been actively training on the basis of the recommendations. The follow-up analysis (included in the analysis package) compares the baseline values with the current state — measurable feedback that shows what has changed. Many clients find this a powerful motivational anchor.
