Location information

Aqua movement training takes place at a cooperating Berlin swimming pool. TODO[content]: TODO[content]: Pool partner and exact address will be added once the cooperation is confirmed. During the initial call we discuss which location is most convenient for you.

Who is aqua movement training particularly suitable for?

Water makes training possible when it is not yet possible on land — or simply more joint-friendly and enjoyable.

After knee, hip or shoulder surgery

As a complementary format to the follow-up training program: water allows loading that would still be too early on land.

Seniors with joint discomfort

Less joint load, more freedom of movement — ideal for people who reach their limits on land.

Overweight and restricted mobility

Buoyancy enables movement sequences that are not yet possible on land.

Anyone looking for variety

Aqua training is an effective complement to land-based training — for strength, endurance and coordination.

What you receive with aqua movement training

Certified guidance

Julio holds the Aqua Trainer Basic certification. He understands the specifics of water resistance and buoyancy forces and designs safe, effective sessions.

Individual aqua training plan

Not a group water aerobics class. Julio's 1:1 guidance means: your plan, your pace, your goals.

Progressive build-up

From simple balance exercises in the water to more complex coordination and strength exercises — always adapted to your progress.

Safety in the water

Julio is by your side at all times — at the poolside or in the water (depending on the exercise). No risk of slipping on wet floors.

Combination with land-based training

Aqua training as a complementary format: Julio integrates your aqua sessions meaningfully into your overall training plan.

Documented progress

After each session Julio notes progress and adjustments. Full transparency about your training journey.

What training clients say

"After my hip surgery I couldn't do much on land. In the water with Julio it was possible much sooner. That was a key part of my progress."

"I have knee discomfort and was sceptical whether training was even possible. In the water I feel no discomfort and I still get stronger. Julio also always explains why he does what he does."

Frequently asked questions about aqua movement training

Do I need to know how to swim?
No. Aqua movement training takes place exclusively in the standing or seated area of the pool — typically with water at hip or chest height. Swimming ability is not required.
Why is training in water easier on the joints?
Water provides buoyancy: depending on immersion depth, your body is 50–90 % lighter. This means significantly less load on the knees, hips and spine — while the water simultaneously provides greater resistance for muscles and cardiovascular fitness. This is a considerable advantage especially after surgery or with joint discomfort.
Where does the aqua movement training take place?
In cooperation with a Berlin swimming pool with a suitable movement or therapy pool. TODO[content]: The specific pool partner and address will be added once the cooperation agreement is finalised. During the initial call we discuss which location works best for you.
Who is aqua movement training particularly suitable for?
Especially recommended for: people following knee, hip or shoulder surgery (as a complement to follow-up training), seniors with joint discomfort, people with significant movement limitations on land, and anyone looking for joint-friendly endurance and strength training.
How much does one aqua training session cost?
From €95/h (slightly above standard due to the pool cooperation fee). 5-session and 10-session packages available. Full price overview: Pricing page.
